Rachelle Ramirez is an artist in Merced, CA. Ramirez started working in art when she joined the Enrichment Center, a visual and performing arts-based day program for adults with developmental disabilities.

Ramirez’ artwork subjects vary, but regularly include women and the unseen experiences of a woman with disabilities. Ramirez’ paintings often represent unity, solidarity, and expressions of the self, experiences often felt by all women with and without disabilities. Through her work, Ramirez expresses difficult to discuss topics verbally associating with her identity.
