Artist Bio Oscar Onsurez is a prolific visual artist, as well as an avid performer working in the Merced County of California. Oscar and his work are a cornerstone of the EC.
Artist Statement I work on several projects at a time exploring the shape of sailboats and sometimes the same palette, finding all the different lines, color placement and mixing I can do with that palette. Recently, over the years I’ve started incorporating a ruler in my process, this helps me create the precise lines needed to sketch my sailboats before I start painting.
