Calixta Perez is a Mexican American artists working in Merced, CA. Calixta works in jewelry-making, drawing, painting and sculpture.

Artist Statement
I attempt to use every color available, for example if I am using a set of 72 count colored pencils I am going to use all 72 colors in my piece. In my paintings I prefer to work in small brushes, starting and ending my focus in detail. I carry the use of maximum color in all my work.
