Artist Bio
Marlen Hernandez is a multidisciplinary artist working in Merced, CA. Marlen works in a primarily pink palette, drawing flowers and fields of flowers in multiple mediums. Marlen is a trained dancer, dedicating at least an hour a day to dance. Marlen is a talented actress, preferring dramatic roles, she played the lead role in the EC’s first play and played multiple other roles since.

Artist Statement
I love to create beautiful pink flowers, pink is my favorite color and I love getting flowers. Sometimes I’ll change it up and create images of Medusa, she’s so iconic and powerful.
