The EC artists produce two basic types of music videos– those by solo artists and those by a group of artists.  Solo artists are usually working on a personal musical performance project, while groups of artists work together to produce program music projects (like the annual Halloween Special).  Each and every video is a labor of love, learning, and expression.

SOLO PROJECTS

2016 / April:  YADIRA PRADO (“Ojos Asi” by Shakira)

Yadira’s disabilities prevented her from singing Shakira’s “Ojos Asi”, but they could not stop her from performing the song.  Yadira’s smooth, swaying dance style and fondness of bellydance-style moves were perfectly matched to Shakira’s song. With the assistance of her backup dancers, production team (other EC artists), and the EC’s Performance/Music History Teacher, Yadira was able to put her dance project on video with her personal flair.

2016 / April:  OSCAR ONSUREZ  (“BAD” by Michael Jackson)

With almost Chaplin-esque, silent expression, Oscar has always been a very physical performer.  Dancing to any Michael Jackson song brings a smile to his face, but dancing to this song brought out his “bad”-itude, as well. With the assistance of his production team (other EC artists), and the EC’s Performance/Music History Teacher, Oscar put his dance project on video with smiles and ‘tude to spare.
